- About
- La Floristería is a generative flower project by Harto, Paiman, and Taya, built around the memory of a flower after it has been given, lived, and transformed. The mint was offered as a gift for Sant Jordi 2026, extending the tradition of giving flowers and poetry into an onchain ritual. Each artwork is a pixel-based flower with its own palette, structure, and life cycle. The flowers move through states of presence and disappearance: fresh, wilting, dying, and finally herbarium. What begins as a living digital bloom becomes a preserved specimen, like a pressed flower kept inside a book. The project connects generative art, poetry, and ritual. Each artwork carries a fragment of Taya’s poem, turning the collection into a dispersed text. No single flower contains the whole poem. Instead, the poem is held across the garden, broken into pieces and preserved through the individual flowers. The Herbarium layer is the final state of the work: a selected group of deterministic specimens prepared as HTML artworks for Bitcoin Ordinals. Using p5.js and recursion, the flowers can live as lightweight generative inscriptions, calling a shared renderer while preserving each individual flower’s identity.
